The TrellTent packs down to less than 1m3 and weighs about 220 kg. It can be stowed easily in virtually any means of transport, car, helicopter, boat, etc.
There are two basic models. The TrellTent 2 has openings at both ends. The TrellTent 4 provides openings on both sides as well. The tents can be joined directly together when necessary to form larger units, as if often the case with field hospitals, staff headquarters and similar applications. In rough terrain, special connection sections can be fitted to give extra flexibility.
With its arched roof, the TrellTent affords effective utilization of space, ample headroom and a bright, pleasant working environment. The waterproof tent fabric with it's PVC coating is easy to keep clean, a definite advantage especially in health care applications. Sewn and welded joints between floor and walls serve to exclude water, dirt and dust, as do the zips around the openings.
The tents come with a separate system of internal ventilation ducts. By simply connecting the system to an external/cooling unit, the indoor temperature can be kept at a pleasant level.
Standard exterior colors are dark green, sand and yellow. Tents with other colors including camouflage can be made to order.
The TrellTent can be adapted to provide collective protection against certain chemical agents. This requires additional sealing, and fitting an extra filter in the heating/cooling unit.
